We can represent a complex number as a vector on an Argand diagram:

In this diagram:

- The complex number is represented by the vector , where is the origin and is the point (4, 3).
- The complex number is represented by the vector , where is the point (-2, 3).
- The complex number is represented by the vector , where is the point (-3, -1).
