# Equilateral triangles

From Graphic maths

An equilateral triangle is a triangle where all three sides are the same length, and all three angles are the same:

An equilateral triangle is a 3 sided regular polygon.

The three angles in an equilateral triangle are equal, and the angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees, which means that each angle is 60 degrees.

All equilateral triangles are similar - that is, they have the same shape but may be different sizes.
